Heartbeats Pledge – An Annual Campaign for Tri-County Birthright

The Heartbeats Pledge started as a letter writing campaign in the 70’s and continues to be our most important fundraiser of the year. Pledge funds allow us to plan for the year and to continue to offer material support and a non-judgmental, sheltering place for women facing unplanned or challenging pregnancies to talk things out and make important plans. We are also able to alleviate some of the stress associated with caring for babies from birth through age 2 with clothes, diapers, and more.

Our Birthright office has been busier than ever this year! This year we have served 200 women and 19 new babies were born. We supplied 263 packages of diapers and wipes, answered the phone 226 times, and provided 6 pregnancy tests. Thank you for making this possible!

With increased online presence and social media interaction, we have seen an increase in clients contacting us online with requests for pregnancy test appointments, material support, and general inquiries. Improvements to our website and increased social media are efforts that were funded by donors like you!

At Birthright we believe that every woman has a right to give birth, regardless of education, age, relationship status, location, or income. And every unborn life has a right to be born, no matter the conditions. While we might believe in ideals, often our crazy world often falls short. We are called to rise to the challenge of supporting women and babies.

We hope you will help us continue our mission and increase our ability to reach and serve women and babies in the year to come.
